Alot of people ask me how resin is made and if it's difficult to do. It's definitely not the easiest of hobbies to get into and it's quite expensive!

I use Mouldd Resin, it's by far one of the best resins around in my opinion!! it is a 2 part resin mixed by volume and It sets in around 12-24 hours. If the mould I'm using is particularly deep, I use Mouldd deep pour resin which takes a 2-3 days to set dependent on the temperature of your room.

If you are starting out I would recommend just buying a starter kit to see how you get on first. Please make sure you have all the safety gear too.

I use a UV resin in my hair clips, so I buy in the clips and then add the resin and flowers or glitter, then cure the resin under a UV lamp.

It's definitely an exciting medium to use, and the results when done properly are so beautiful!!
